Primary Job Location
Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. May also be required to travel within and outside Nigeria, as needed.
Reports To
The Head of Operations, Alder Consulting
Roles and Responsibilities
Researching and collating information and materials for the MD’s books, lectures and papers
Coordinating and attending the MD’s speaking engagements
Coordinating and managing the MD’s correspondences: Emails, faxes and post-mail
Coordinating and managing the MD’s diary & schedule
Providing protocol and travel arrangement services to the MD
Providing concierge services to the MD
Supervising & managing the MD’s administrative staff
Screening telephone calls as well as emails/written enquiries and requests
Ensuring MD’s meetings are well-prepared for
Receiving accurate dictation and ensuring accurate minutes of meetings
Maintaining administrative systems, including data management, filing, etc.
Other assignments as determined by Alder’s Executive Committee
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Ability to operate independently and responsibly with minimal supervision
Ability to manage multiple competing tasks
Initiative, energy, passion, commitment and drive
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent administrative skills (Ability to manage both people and processes)
Attention to detail
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word, including proficiency in manipulating audio, video and pictures in PowerPoint

Willingness and ability to work long hours and on weekends/public holidays, as needed
