Job Description:

Our client, a globally renowned Oil & Gas Engineering Group is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Designer to work on a large-scale Nigeria based project. The successful candidate will be initially required to review design documentation produced by the EPC Contractors. They will therefore be based initially in Lagos, Nigeria for at least 12 weeks (offered on a 5 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation probably 2 trips in total). They will then return to our clients offices in Surrey, UK to work on other FEED/Detailed Design projects for a further 6 months at least. It is essential that the candidate for this role has had significant related experience working for Engineering/Client organisations in the Oil and Gas Industry. It is essential for candidates for this role to have had previous experience in Site Preparation, Groundworks, Drainage systems, Foundation GA's, Reinforcement design/scheduling and Structural detailing associated with Onshore Oil and Gas Facilities. There will be a 60% Uplift to the rate whilst in Nigeria plus Flights; Secure accommodation provided.
